Frequently asked questions
What is Deploy The Agent?
A directory of practitioner-grade AI agents for GTM teams, covering RevOps, ABM, sales, marketing, and customer success. Each agent ships as a deployable workflow, with a spec, CRM properties, automation templates, and QA checklists, not just an idea or a prompt.
How is this different from a prompt library or AI tools list?
Prompt libraries give you a starting instruction for a model. Deploy The Agent gives you the full workflow: input/output schemas, CRM field mappings, n8n automation skeletons, Clay templates, governance rules, and a deployment checklist. See the manifesto for the full breakdown.
What tools do the agents require?
Most agents run on a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce), an automation layer (n8n or equivalent), and where relevant, an enrichment source (Clay, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, Apollo). Each agent page lists required and optional tools specifically.
Are these agents free to use?
The directory, agent specs, and deployment templates are open and available in the GitHub repo. Tool costs (CRM, enrichment, automation hosting) are separate and vary by provider.
What does the maturity badge mean?
Each agent is rated Quick Win, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise based on implementation complexity and typical build time, from a couple of hours to several weeks.
How do I know which agents to deploy first?
Use the Agent Builder. Answer eight questions about your CRM, company size, GTM motion, tools, and automation maturity, and it returns a recommended sequence of the first 12 agents to deploy.
Do these agents send emails or touch customer data automatically?
No agent auto-sends emails, auto-creates CRM contacts without review, or auto-closes opportunities in V1. Every agentβs governance notes specify exactly what requires human review.
Is this the full 500-agent list or just the launch set?
The directory covers a 500-agent taxonomy across GTM functions. Ten of those are fully deployable Launch V1 packs today, each with complete workflow assets. The remaining agents are documented at the concept and spec level, with deployment packs shipping progressively.
